Preorder FAQ
Why are you continuing to use Kickstarter?
If you have any questions or concerns about Quindrie Press' decision to continue running campaigns on Kickstarter, please read our statement here.
Should I preorder on Kickstarter or on the Quindrie Press website?
It is completely up to you. We are currently trialling this mixed preorder system to gauge how people prefer to order our books, and to offer an alternative to backers who do not want to use Kickstarter. Preorders from both Kickstarter and our website will be shipped at the same time and it is possible to buy multiple books using either system. We have listed the differences between each system below if you’re not sure which to go for:

Do website preorders count towards Kickstarter stretch goals or bonus payments for artists?
Yes! All website preorders will be added to the Kickstarter total to calculate bonus payments.
How do I receive a refund if I preordered through the Quindrie Press website but changed my mind?
If you preordered the book through our website and wish to cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible at quindriepress@gmail.com with your order number (you can find this on your original email receipt). You can also reply directly to your original email receipt. Refunds may take up to 2 weeks to process.
No really, is it better for Quindrie Press if I preorder through Kickstarter or through the website?
In all honesty, the book is reliant on the Kickstarter funding in order to succeed. If you do not feel strongly one way or another and you can see that the campaign still hasn’t met its goal, then backing the Kickstarter instead would help guarantee that we can publish this and future books. If you can see that the campaign has already met its goal, then feel free to preorder on our website. However, we do not want to guilt backers into using either system and are trialling this split system specifically so that backers can choose whichever they feel more comfortable with.
